Child Counselling is offered to children over the age of five. Counselling can be beneficial for children when:
A range of emotional release, expressive and play therapies are used when working with children to help them talk about their issues, feel better about themselves, express their emotions safely and appropriately, build relationship skills and problem solve. Julie is an experienced child and adolescent counsellor who holds a current Blue Card. At the time of making an appointment for child counselling parents will be asked to attend the first session initally unaccompanied by their child in order to discuss the issues of concern. |
